Laurel Canyon California Residence
The 1960's house perches on a hillside just above Sunset Boulevard.
The client’s personal style is very modern. He had recently
renovated the interior of the house and wanted to bring the exterior
aesthetic up to the same standards of the interior.
The house sits directly adjacent to the road with very little possibility
for planting areas. The front of the house is very hot as it gets
sun all day, so we decided that the new design needed to articulate
the volumes of the house through the use of materials.
